I think it's dependent on the mentality of the man. Whether he is feminine or macho does not matter quite as much as his views on what type of relationship he wants. It's just as likely that the most feminine man in the world could be a whore as a macho man could be a devoted husband.

Studies have indicated that men that appear more masculine, ie eyebrow ridge, square jaw, etc, are considered more attractive for short term relationships for women.

Men with perhaps more feminine traits, ie fuller lips, are considered "safer" and more likely to make a better long term partner.

These are not set in stone, but might provide indicators for how people choose mates.

Scientific studies have showen that men with softer features and more rounded jaws better long-term material whereas chisled-jawed men with more testosterone better for flings and they are more likely to cheat. I guess it also depends on the individual person and the chemisty between two people.
