wow, i dont mean to sound like a mother, but you probably shouldnt be in a chatroom type atmoshpere like this at 11, let alone admitting your young age; it's not safe.
considering you have many many years ahead of you for boyfriends, listen to your mother. have fun, and just be 11-enjoy it while it lasts. you dont want the stresses of a boyfriend at that age or you'll grow up too fast and lose your childhood.
(sorry to sound like such a mom, but i know this from experience !!)

well we have the same situation here, but what can i say..mothers just know what is best for you. i think the best thing that you can do is just get to know this guy better to know your differences and maybe you can just see that you are really not meant for each other,, you should always remember not to follow your feelings because it will decieve you... listen to your mom dont follow your heart :) well thats my opinion...

Listen to your mom, you're 11, not like you're gonna marry this guy! 11 is too young to date anyway, wait until you're 15-16.

Sorry Hun but I agree with your mom you are too young to have a boyfriend. Wait a few years and then you can start dating.

well could you stand to fight with your mom or get grounded?
you could tell him that you like him but you arent allowd to date and if your friends are friends with him you all can plan to do things in a group instead of dating and you would still get to talk and flirt and your mom wouldnt be mad

DUH?! follow your mom. being just friends with you boy love won't hurt besides theres alot of time to grow.. if you think you love this guy then grow with him as friends..love will follow as you grow older. also.. you just think you're in love.. been there done that.. FYI im 30yrs old I KNOW!

I would listen to wat your mum says..
Take it from me, not very wise to follow your heart at your age.
Even adults fumble when they follow their hearts WITHOUT thinking or listening to opnions.
