No, no one knows exactly when. From the hints in the gospel accounts, it was probably in late spring. There would not be travel in the winter, nor would there be sheep and shepherds in fields in the dead of winter. Certainly he was NOT born in December! Odds are in May, possibly April.

He was born during the feast of tabernacles, in the autumn.
The closest approximation of the time of Christ's birth is:
The evening of the 15th of September (15th of Tishri on the Hebrew calendar), the first day of the feast of tabernacles. This was also the time of a complete eclipse.
The year was 5 BC.
It wasn't until 500 years later that a monk, Dionysius Exiguus invented the BC (Before Christ) and AD (Anno Domini, Year of our Lord) time reckoning.
It wasn't until the 1500's AD that the people began to realize that he was a bit off in his calculations. One miscalculation was that Christ was actually born 5 BC. The other miscalculation was that the monk had not allowed for a year zero. 1 BC is followed by 1 AD. Therefore an adjustment of one year is required when going from BC to AD.

The Bible clearly states that Jesus was born during the rein of Herod the Great (died in 4 BCE) and when Quirinius was governor of Syria (started in 6 CE). That should narrow it down a bit.
Jesus was born-- at night! (maybe)

Generally speaking in the days when Quirinius was Governor of Syria. The Bible doesn't give the exact date for Jesus' birth, nor do the historical records of societies in that era give the birthdays of other famous people. Your claim that the Bible doesn't say anything about this is incorrect.

No one knows for sure! Since the Gregorian Calendar is based on the time since Jesus was born (ie...2007), it cannot be used as a good source to say when Jesus was born, because it's impossible to be born in the years 0! But I think he was maybe born in 3AD..

Best estimates are between Feburary and April sometime between 6 BC and 6 AD
That's a pretty big span. 12 years of time and almost three months. It would be late Feburary to Mid April. Basically are Easter times.

Actually, we know that John the Baptist was born 6 months ahead of Jesus. John the Baptist was born during the Jewish month that falls around March/April (Nisan) which would have placed Christ’s birthday around September/October (Tishri). Yes, Jewish months last two of our months.
While Saturnalia IS celebrated on December 25th, it was ORIGINALLY the date of the Sun God Tammuz, who's sign was the Cross or T. He was the son of Nimrod and Semiramis (who had herself declared a Virgin Mother of the Sun God and then had him sacrificed on December 25th in celebration to the sun). Nimrod was the Mighty Hunter in OPPOSITION to God; he was also Ham's (Noah's son) great-grandson. So, we see here that as far back as Nimrod & Semiramis, they were worshipping the Sun God and Cross on December 25th in Babylon.

I didn't go to the site only because of one reason. You stated that Justin Martyr, one of the greatest of the early fathersk who lived about A.D. 150 tells us that Jesus was born in a cave. Now, if you are to believe Justin who lived about A.D 150, then why the arugment about the bible stating that Jesus was born in a manger?

Jesus was born approximately NINE months after He was conceived by the Virgin Mary.
Christ is from all Eternity. He is the Anointed One, the coming Messiah, King of Kings and Lord of Lords, the Prince of Peace. And He shall reign from Jerusalem, the City of Peace.

No one knows for absolute certainty. We do know that it was between the years 5 BC and 3 AD. We know also that He died in 33 AD. This fact has been well documented as part of history.
