Ya, I know, it sounds like a really stupid question. But the problem is that my parents won't let me tape posters to the wall, cuz they say that the paint will get ruined or something like that. That's why I would appreciate it if anyone could tell me how put posters up without actually using any tape. Thanks in advance!

There is a product that looks like a putty or gum. I think they call it mastic. It comes in a small plastic tube, & you pull out a wad of this stuff, break it into four smaller pieces, squash them flat, & put one at each corner of your poster, & stick it to the wall.

I have left posters up for years with this stuff, & was able to remove it later without harming the wall or the poster.

You'll probably find it in any hardware store, or Home Depot, or Staples.

if they wont let u use tape, then u wont be able to use thumbtacks obviously. That blue putty stuff one guy suggested will fall off and the special tape will fall off too. My roomate used a special poster tape. Buy that. its made for that. Tell ur parents and put up ur posters.

I find that framing posters gives the room and the wall that extra punch. You can aquire inexpensive frames in the Internet and Ebay. It will bring your room to a whole other level. Have Fun!
