Should I use high reps and light weight or low reps and heavy weights?

My goal is to increase my kick speed and power. I stretches at least half hour a day before run and work out.

The rep/weight thingy depends on whether you are an ectomorph or not. I am and (just like Brad Pitt lol) have to use fewer reps (8-10-12 max) and heavier weights or else I don't gain.

Since your goal is to increase speed and power you should do squats, squats on a springboard, lunges, running up and down stairs as fast as you can, and kickboxing.
