Is a Phillips Plasma television any good?

I am about to buy a 42" Phillips plasma for 1200 bucks but I have found some very disturbing reviews for trhis tv. Model # 42PF7321D

Yikes stay away far away. Unless your a repair man but even then you still have to get the parts and that should only take a few months to a year to get.

Philips does not have a very good reputation because of the recall that occurred last year with their plasmas.
