As mentioned, only semi-unrequited, it's the classic story, boy meets girl, boy falls for girl and girl falls for boy, boy and girl date, boy and girl stop dating and become friends for no apparent reason, boy continues to like girl for 4 years, during which boy and girl ocasionally fool around (i.e. oral sex), girl rarely tells boy she still loves him, usually when drunk, also during this period both boy and girl have other relationships, boy always feels more drawn to girl than his current significant other.

After this period of time of being in love with girl boy decides to either give it a definite shot with girl or, if that isn't an option give it up. Around this time girl gets EXTREMELY busy with work, school, and other things that boy generally accepts as higher priority than him such that even seeing her to ask her out becomes an issue, let alone dating her.

Boy then gets frustrated and goes to yahoo answers.

Now, what should I do?

By extremely busy I mean EXTREMELY busy, i.e. when me or any of her other friends try to hang out with her at all she claims that we'd have to replace one of her higher priorities, sleep, work, or insanely expensive school for which the work is taking place.

Have patience with her don't rush her when she is alreayd overwhelmed with life. Try to be there for her and when you two have a minute thats right (when your both relaxed and sober and generally happy) say I'd really like to talk to you about something and tell her how you feel. Or you could send her flowers with a message of your feelings like "you know who I am, I am right in front of you, yet you look right past me, but I'm in love with you, secret ad" leave little notes all over about the things you love about her (more then just her looks) and make a real effort to become part of her life and want to be there to help and support her (emotionally and anything else) when you talk to her let her know you want more then a physical relationship. You need to MAKE her sit down with you some day, and just tell her flat out how you feel.

If she says that there is no way, then at least you can move on without agonizing over what could have been "if only" you had had the courage to say something.

Whichever way she jumps, you'll at least have resolution.

She's a friendly buddy.....nothing serious.

You are way off on a back burner with her. You are a toy.

What should you do? Nothing. There is nothing you can do except move on to someone who is more interested and less busy.

You really know all you need to know about her and what is going on.

Find someone better who deserves you.

Good Luck,

CF

You need to ask her out, you can still date her even if she's busy. But, if you don't try, you'll always wonder "What if"
