If there is a certain type of personality you like better than others, find out what the astrological sign is for that man, and take note if your sign is a match with his. I know it may sound silly, but 9 out of 10 times, it was right on the money! Even if you are not into reading your horoscope, just read what the personality traits are for all of the signs, and take a look at what the stars say is your "best match", then as you begin meeting men, ask them their birthday. Compare them with your sign.

You have almost all the characteristics down pat but you will have to have patience. It takes time to really check out another person's qualities. When you first meet, you are both on best behavior so wait until he is comfortable and look at how he treats other people before you decide if he is the one. and YES, HOW DOES HE TREAT HIS MOTHER!!!

He should respect you. He should be sensible, considerate and polite. He should also be intelligent, with a basic knowledge of what is in the news. And of course, a mature, clean vocabulary is a major plus. Boys who swear a lot are such low-lifes or just immature (sooner or later).

Personally, I look for things that will concern me in the future.
Is he a good worker?
Is his bond with his family strong?
How does he treat his friends?
Does he share the same beliefs/interests as you?
Does he communicate well with you?
Etc.
Materialistic things don't matter, his personality is the most important thing.
