I posted in the general appearance area there and got a couple of helpful responses, now I'm just narrowing it down.
I need advice on my hair. Right now its short, plain, about as blah as it gets. Just for info its auburnish red, I'd really rather not dye it anything drastic. Thanks.

I think your hair looks fine. If you want to change it in the future, let it grow a bit more...you may have a better idea of what you want then.

Leave all the length on top/crown/back. Leave the sides short, take all the bangs off with a buzzcut which blends into the top within an inch. Then after a few weeks it should look pretty cool. It's not much of a change but by cutting the front short, it will completely change the dynamic of your hair.

you can grow your hair out avout 3 inches then get a retexturizing treatment most good hair salon will give you free consutations and sometimes it is easier to have someone look and feel your hair to tell you what your true hair potential could be expect to pay @ 65$ for a great cut and the retexturizing should be about the same price maybe 75$ good luck

hey,
i have been doing hairdressing for awhile.if your hair has just a plain trim now and again go and get a style cut ask your hairdresser what they think going on the shape of your face, and make sure it different and go for the cut for a while sometimes have it short or long depending on how it makes you feel! then when you think it time to change colour get streaks of foils not an all ova die soou still have your natural colour.

if your hair line is receding promptly i could decide for a thoroughly shaved seem. I propose going to a salon, and getting critiques of stylists, particularly women. They understand what they're searching for in a guy, and are great with hair. superb of success

WOW its perfect to spike the whole thing! just mush gel on your hair and get a comb to spike it

i think you could let it grow a little longer . and don't dye it any more. maybe you could feather it back on the sides .

u can either spike it or let it grow out and do the whole punk sk8ter look
