Do you think your bible is prefect?
If there is even one flaw in it how can you believe any of it is true?

There is a lot more wrong with the bible than grammatical errors. Not only are there hundreds of factual errors, there are scores of internal contradictions, which render it worthless as a source of anything except amusement.

I assume you mean "perfect" and not "prefect" as you wrote.

The Bible has never been proven false in regard to archeology or historical fact. NEVER. That should tell you something right there.

I also believe in the inherent truth of the God's word in the Bible. Here's a test for you, READ the Bible, do it God's way, and see what happens. I think you'll find it's "perfect" in every way.

God bless.

I`ve never seen a man that didn`t have flaws.Saying that how could man even inspired by God not ad his own feelings on the subject he wrote about.Man is just better educated today. If three men saw something unusual and was asked to describe what they saw ,even though all were honest men ,there would be differences. The Bible is our guide and our connection to God and his thoughts for us.I think when we can get passed the trivial things and look at the big picture that we understand what is important.

The Bible is Perfect for what it's designed to be.

A dictionary is imperfect because I have a hard time spelling words and when I try and look them up, I can't find them. Why? Because I don't know how to spell them.

Now, if I type that mispelled word into Yahoo Search, it comes back with the DID YOU MEAN phrase and gives me the correct spelling.

So, the Dictonary is imperfect, because it doesn't work for people who can't spell. Should we get rid of it?

Think about the number of people who believe that what is written in "The DaVinci Code" is true. They believe it because fact and fiction are blended in that book, so that it is easier to believe the fiction. I think that the same can be said of the bible. I've found some very accurate accounts of historical events, and some that are outright absurd, but because of the accuracy of some of it, the reader is tempted to believe all of it. It's still historical fiction. It is still obvious that it was written by human beings, from the human (and decidedly male) perspective. I would expect that a book written or inspired by God would be a better book.

I agree with the first poster. The translation errors are caused by humans, not god. As far as any "scriptural contradictions," there are none. Just people who like to think there are and so make them up and not admit it when you show the truth.

Its what the Bible calls, "having their ears tickled." Meaning, some people just like to hear what they WANT TO HEAR.

The Bible is 95% accurate. The other 5% are grammatical errors.
