She'll twirl her hair (play with it) or her necklace or whatever jewelry she's wearing, or look at her nails. If she's with a girfriend, she'll giggle and start talking to her, and then look up in the air.

I didn't realize at the time, that if you gazed back at someone, that they would actuallly approach you. Therefore, I lost a huge chance at something really good. I tired to show interest later, but I think someone had their feelings hurt.

She keeps glancing your way to see if you are looking at her, playing with her hair, getting impatient, when they get really bad they walk back and forth in the road roaring at anyone who approaches and holding up traffic, oh wait, thats female tigers...
