i work with all women, so no chance there. I drink, but meeting a guy in bar only makes me think just how often is out drinking. help!

Try online dating. Seriously. Some people think it's stupid, but it can work. Try Yahoo! Personals or Match.com. There are usually a lot of people on those sites that aren't into the bar scene and are looking for a new way to meet people (same as you).

Check out places where people go to hang out, socialize, but not specifically to drink. How about a jazz club? Try rock climbing, go to the gym, grab a camera and spend the day walking around town. Just put yourself in a good position to meet someone.

I met the first two guys i dated after my divorce on Match.com
It was a good experience. I would do it again if I were single. My boyfriend that I have now i met on Myspace. I requested him as a friend and things started from there! It also is a great experience. We have been dating for 6 months. I would recommend the internet! Always be careful though!

I just gave someone else some advice. Go to a coffee shop, hit a bookstore, walk around a park. If you work out, the gym is a cool place. Take part in activities that doesn't involve drinking.

i could ask, how does a 44 yr old single man meet a nice woman? i don't do the bar scene, cause if i found her in a bar, whats to keep her from going back to the bar? if you can answer that please call me as i have to work full time and wold love to know how i'm suppose to to that!

The bars are the worst place to meet someone!!!!!Their are so many more options here on line.Try some of them.If not just go to the supermarket!!!!

Just be open and friendly in a public place ...there's lots of good normal guys out there you just have too be friendly and talk back when someone says something too you lol

Social clubs, and church gatherings are good places to meet people; also try other social settings like museums, fairs, and community gatherings. Good luck!
