Hey everyone, I wondered, how come that some people are so slim but still eat so much while some obese people eat little but still struggle with their weight? I guess it's the genetics but is there any way to improve one's digestive system?

Hi hon, it's not your digestive system it is your Metabolism! Tyra Banks had an author, and of course I can't remember his name, but he wrote a book about rebooting your metabolism and she had women that were on his diet and lost between 30 and 60 lbs in 2 months. As I remember it, the formula was to of course, eat healthy but the key was eating small meals 6 times a day and not after 8 pm. That way your body never goes into "starvation mode" which happens when you skip meals and this concept boosts your metabolism because it is constantly being fueled by your little meals--- I wish I could think of his name but I saw the show about 6 months ago--- maybe on her website you can get the name of the book. Good luck to you............

Eat more fiber and less junk food, avoid caffeine and eat at least 5 fruit or veg daily. Some people have a high muscle density and fast metabolism to burn fat fast than people whose bodies are composed of 25-30% or more body fat. These people have a slower metabolism and store fat, not burn it off.
