Sure, why not. That's one way to get a conversation started and find out how he feels. What's the worst that could happen? He might not be interested in you and that's a good thing because then you can move on to someone who is.

Should just tell him. Cos' if you wait and he waits. Never ending. Or it will cos you regrets if he thinks that you got no feelings for him....etc.. go go.. and ask him.
