Is Evolution better science than Genesis?

It seems almost tragic if you believe that humans evolved seperately from all over living things. Life evolving through Natural Selection is not just better science than creationism. It is a more satisifying spiritual experience.

These insights are from Carl Sagan's latest book, put together by his wife. It's called "The Varities of Scientific Experience, a personal view for the search for God"

Evolution is a fact, it really happened. Science is self-correcting. The bible is a book written 2,000 years ago by people with a very limited knowledge of the natural world.

Genesis has nothing to do with science. I obviously believe in evolution, you would have to be in total denial not to. I am also a very spiritual person. I do not need set boundaries to be a spiritual being. In fact, these things only further one away from spirituality.

Genesis is not science so you can't compare Evolution as a science with it. As for the assertion that "Evolution is a fact" that is a statement of faith in human science and reason, just like "Genesis is true" is a statement of faith in divine revelation.

A better question would be, "Is science, based on human observation and human intellect, more likely to give us an accurate idea of ancient events that cannot now be observed diredctly, or the Bible, which is a message to us from the intelligent being who who made the universe himself?"

I am not a fan of this kind of satirical humor that mocks Christians and creation scientists. Don't think you're fooling anyone including God Himself. You are committing several of the worst logical fallacies. One is called the "straw man" where you fabricate the opponents position which then can easily be knocked down with false accusations. No Christian believes any of the ideas you are falsely attributing to them in your question. In addition you are using the logical fallacy of equivocation by stating that "evolution" is "science". It is not. True science supports creation theory, not evolution. No true scientific evidence in support of God's Word has ever been "debunked" by evolutionists. They may want to think so in their fallible imaginations to justify their atheist beliefs, but in reality their arguments are empty wishful thinking. Christians do question. And when they do, it inevitably leads to the truth of God's Word which is supported by mountains of scientific evidence, logic, and by God's own spirit working in us. We all have the same evidence, it is simply interpreted falsely by evolutionists to support their atheist theories. Therefore there is no evidence that supports evolution or the big bang if properly interpreted in light of God's Word. No Christian or creation scientist believes that dinosaur fossils do not exist. Of course they exist. We can observe and see them with our own eyes. However, we have NEVER observed evolution happening. The truth is that in a whirlwind of science that supports God's creation, evolutionists have nothing to hold onto except their own fallible imaginations. One day they will turn to dust like everything else in this world and then what will become of them? The Bible tells us "And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. and they were judged every man according to their works...and whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire." Christians take this warning seriously. I would suggest you do as well.

I don't understand how christians see that creationism gives more purpose to one's life than evolution does. Evolution plainly states that your purpose is to improve. Your entire life is centered around becoming better and better. Creationism...made by god, worship god, live with god...I just don't get it...
