Raisin Bran , or plain Bran cereal is very healthy. Bran cereals , the good types, usually have up to 50% bran-Bran is the part of the grain that contains the most fibre- ,which gives your stools more bulk and allow you to pass motion more easily. It's the best source of fibre, and bran cereals are low in sugar. Very crunchy stuff.

There is no ONE healthiest cereal
it depends what the rest of your diet consists of...if you eat nothing but junk food then it doesnt matter how healthy your cereal is
on the other hand if you eat healthily, eat whatever cereal you want
if you don't eat too much of it, it really doesn't matter--they're all roughly equivalent in carbs and calories

Old fashioned oatmeal is really the best. Low in fat and very high in fiber. It does help to reduce cholesterol when eaten everyday. Cheerios is made from oats and is also very good.

Oatmeal (steel cut) is the healthiest. After that my vote would go with the unbeatable taste of Cheerios.

Any whole grain cereal, and if it needs to be cooked, it's that much better. But I mean something that's cooked on a stovetop, that takes at least 20 minutes, not something that you can do in the microwave oven.

Whatever the cereal is...just make sure that there is NO High Fructose Corn Syrup in ANY of them! That stuff is so bad for you and is in EVERYTHING....(bread, crackers, cereal, jellies, candies, dried fruit, etc.)

Anything which is wheat-free is best. There are some rumours that wheat in North America was genetically modified a decade (or more) ago, and is probably bad for the thyroid.
