i've heard they dump it down the drain and i've heard they keep and then send it off to be distroyed. what do they do?

human waste removal is a serious matter and the should have regular pickup of an excess human waster leftover from their procedures

I've heard that in other countries, like Russia, they do use blood from dead people for transfusions, but I imagine that happens before they go to the mortuary.

They inject it into rocks. Then donate them to the IRS school to teach new recruits how to extract the blood from a rock. Even those blood suckers need training.
