Let's see you won't have to worry about being thin when you are dead... Yes cancer is just a great way to lose weight.

Smoking can also cause more than just lung cancer, throat cancer, bladder cancer, etc.. Shall I go on???

Not to mention people who smoke even up to a year prior to concieving children are more likely to have a child with lukemia.

If you smoke, your foods won't taste as good and you wont' be able to enjoy them. It's better to take up a healthy habbit such as walking or even tapping your foot to help loose weight!

Remember, smoking is unhealthy and addictive. True, many smokers loose weight. But many of them also get nervouse and irritable when they don't have their cigarrettes, they smell bad, and they have health problems. When they do decide to make themselves quit, they get grumpy and no longer have the healthy body to work out enough to keep the weight off.

I was trying to think of how to answer your question. I started to say "Yes, but it's a bad idea." but now that I look at your question... It kinda contraditcts itself. Healthy diets do not include smoking. some of the stuff from the smoke will get down into your stomach, and that will be similar to "eating" all the chemicals found in whatever you are smoking. ... They are not a healthy thing to eat.

I have to admit though, this has crossed my mind too. ... It isn't worth it. If you are that desperate that you are willing to risk your health to loose weight, look into diet patches and pills. Or go see a doctor! Cigarettes are more expensive than asking for a prescription diet aid. Although, diet and exercise still remain my #1 choices.

No, No, No....DO NOT START THAT NASTY HABIT. You will lose more weight walking 20 minutes a day than you would from smoking. Smoking not only messes with your metabolism, lungs, seretonin levels...it just smells bad and doesn't look cool by any stretch of the imagination. I hate to lecture people but I got started on that road at a young age and quitting is one of the hardest things I have ever done. I quit smoking then went to Weight Watchers. Within 1 year I was 65 pounds lighter and a hell of alot happier.

PLEEEEAAASE don' t start smoking. Love your body, inside and out. It truly is a temple regardless of how you may see yourself at this point in time.

Smoking is an appetite suppressant. Basically, it's just something to put into your mouth instead of food. Honestly, it could help you to lose the weight (because you would have something else to concentrate on besides food, and something else to fill your mouth instead of food - which would mean that you wouldn't eat as much). But there are certainly other ways to get the job done! Try chewing on gum or going for a peaceful walk whenever you feel like you want to eat instead. Eating a healthy diet alone would immensly help you! I've known many people who died of smoking. It's very addicting, and so many people have a hard time quitting when they want to. But, it's your choice. I hope I've given you some useful info!

Best of luck to you. :)

No....it will not! It will just be another BAD habit you would have to try to eventually give up. It stinks, it dries your skin and speeds up the wrinkles. Not only that but they are $5 a pack! I am sure with a healthy diet and constant exercise you can loose as much as you want.

I do believe it would! I'm going down to the store to pick up a pack as soon as I'm done with this. The doctors could not legally give this advice and there's no money in it except for the tobacco companies. They would get sued for telling people this so they wouldn't dare.

I gained about 20 pounds when I quit 7 years ago and haven't lost it yet so this has got to work. Thanks for the advice!

My grandma smoked Raleigh Plains (no filter) since she was 16 and lived to be 80, only to die from fear and worry- not lung cancer or heart attack or anything physical.

Oh my god! I can't believe you're contemplating that. Don't be so lazy - looking for the quick fix. If you want to lose weight, eat less and exercise more.

Don't give yourself a life-long, cancer causing, unsociable habit for the rest of your life because you can't be bothered to exercise and eat right for a few extra months.
