It is possible to be declared a conscientious objector. That doesn't exclude you from the draft, but it would put you in a job that you wouldn't be required to carry a weapon. It is a great deal of paperwork, but it can be done. You can actually go into the service under this status. I went through basic training with one. He was a Quaker and going into the medical core.

There is only one or two religions that get you out of the Army, I think Jehovah's witnesses are one, but not sure. You have to be in that religion LONG before you are called in. No one has been called in in 30 years. I was among the last called.

It's a crime not to register. Just register and get it over with.

All other religions get you 1AO status and you become a field medic.

You can declare yourself a consciences objector you will still have to serve it may be behind the lines but you will still have to serve. You have to prove that you belong to a religion that is pacifist like Quakers.
Your religion does not say thou shall not kill. It says thou shall not commit murder.
Killing and murder are two different things. Killing in self defense is not murder. Killing to defend your country is not murder if your county is just, the men who killed the Nazis to liberate Auschwitz were not murderers the Nazis were .
Just say your gay if you want to weasel out of the draft.

Do you live in the US? If so, you have nothing to fear because there is no draft. We have selective service.
