In a full on marital arts fight with Bruce Lee (when alive) Jackie Chan is spam! But you have to remember Jackie was trained from childhood at the chinese equivalent of rada! Which means he not only does the odd kung fu kicks and punches but also sings and dances! Im chinese and ive seen it! its not too bad!
In Asia the man is a god! And hes doing pretty good in the west!
But Jackie nows what hes good at and thats making movies! and hes got more money than god because of it!
But judge for yourself- dont just watch American stuff like Rush Hour that are bridging a cultural divide. Go out and watch his older Hong kong financed stuff. The Armour of God series is pure entertainment! full of stunts and funny! Classic! Or if you fancy something more up to date Watch the new police story!

no matter what anyone says Jackie Chan is the bets. he is a good actor and does some amazing stuff e.g. jumping 9 foot walls and going though top deck bus windows. Jackie Chan is the king of martial arts.

Jackie Chan is so washed up. He is better at comedy than martial arts now. The best martial artist/actor today would have to be Tony Jaa. He is phenomenal hands down.

Jackie Chan is very good. He is a qualified martial artist, as well as movie maker, stunt man. He's also funny.

well let's just say that Bruce Lee complimented him very well on his ability when they worked together on The Chinese Connection (US release) and Fist of Fury (SouthEast Asia release, Note:these were the names of the same movie, just named differently depending on where it was released) and Enter the Dragon.

Bruce made the comment that Jackie was very good and quite possibly the next person in line to take Martial Arts in acting and performing to the next level, after watching him perform some stunts and fighting choreography.
