It MIGHT be a problem with your dvd player. But i have a question, are you actually burning converted .avi files (.VOB) or is nero converting them for you, or did you just convert them into mpeg-2 them burn them straight onto disc? If your actually burning .vobs or neros converting whatever you have for you into that, then its a problem with you dvd player. If your just burning mpeg-2s straight onto the discs without nero having further conversion of them into .vobs, then you need to have it convert it for you (a plugin does this, but i havent used it in a long time, sorry). I have a ps2, and I tried burning movies to play on it, and i nearly killed myself, until i found out that it was the player's fault. Also, one last thing: the ps2 seems to have a problem with the folders on a dvd. If you open up a movie dvd on your computer (like open it up, not play it), you will see usually one or two folders with VIDEO_TS or that along with AUDIO_TS. If you have a movie that all the files only go under the VIDEO_TS folder, and the AUDIO_TS folder is empty, and you burn it like that, it will not play. In this case, if the AUDIO_TS folder is empty, delete it, and burn only the VIDEO_TS portion. Obviously, if there is stuff in there, dont do anything to it! Hope this helps!
