No, men need respect in the same way that women need love.
That also depends on your definition of "LOVE" is it just a happy mushy feeling you get? That's not love.
Love is an ACT, it is something you DO for someone, not something you feel.

Love is learning to accept other people's difference and love is an attitude with appropriate behavior
Love is the soil in which we must grow and the foundation on which we must build But commitment is the glue that holds relationships together. Love is a verb ,a word of action, so if you are not getting the right actions then take a long look at what you are calling love. Most of what we call love in infatuation and only good until we start bumping into our differences

Yes. Love covers everything. When you really love someone you'll be willing to do anything for him or her and if the person truly love you they would do the same. Sometimes going though times really shows a person how much the REALLY actually "love" somebody. I've been dating my boyfriend for a few years and many times we have fights that i thought would be "the end". But we really love each other and things always turn out fine. Actually through those fights we became closer and more understanding of each other.
Hope this helps. =D

In the ideal world, love is more than enough. In reality, this is not true though. Love definitely has to be in the mix for anything to have a chance of surviving but it takes a lot of hard work on both parties concerned for a relationship to really last & be satisfying.

Unfortunately, I've found that it's not. In a dream world, I guess it would be. But I've loved a few people and love is not always enough.

Gotta say NO. I think trust and honesty with out love would be better. It's worse to have true love with out those two, if someone loves you dearly but you cant trust them than what is the point?
