i met this guy a year ago.... i inmediately new he had a crush on me, but i just saw him as a friend. we started hanging out a lot, and eventualy we made out. that kinda made it an official dating, but i left like 3 days after cuz we had vacations and i was making a trip with my best friend to NY. on our last night i got really drunk and made out with a guy. i cried so much, and when i saw my guy afterwards he asked me "if i did something worng" and i didn't have the heart to tell him a lie. we didn't see each other much after that, but then we began an on again-off again dating... we have really busy schedules both, and i've made other long trips (i haven't done anything else, by the way)... after a while i figured this wasn't working out and told him so but he said he really likes me and wants to try. now his on a trip... what do you think will happen when he comes back? did i screw everything with what happened before? (ps. his ex cheated on him for a year..take a hint)

You should wait and see what happens; he may turn out to be the better person....

If you want to make it work and if he said he really likes you and wants to try, then there shouldn't be anything standing in your way to reconcile.

Trust is a BIG thing in relationships. It is something that is earned and, once lost, hard to get back... especially with someone who has been hurt before.

Show him that you are interested in making it work. Don't give up hope. Everyone makes mistakes. Hopefully you can learn from this one and that he will accept your apology.

Good luck.

Drinking to excess ALWAYS leads to guilt, don't do that again if you want to avoid the negative consequences.

How do you really feel about this guy? Are you just dating him because he's the one who is "around?"

When he comes back, IMMEDIATELY be honest with him, explain your current feelings, and ask him to explain his. If the two of you can't work it out, then move on. I warn you, if you harbor this guilt and lie now it will haunt you for the rest of the relationship.

you only made out sounds like you didn't have sex. Pretend it didn't happen and move on, if you tell him it will ruin your relationship. Not that I apporve of lying but when it does'nt have to why ruin a relationship. Someitmes things like this happen to make oursleves realize what a person means to us...
chalk it up as experience nad pretned the whole thing never happened
