other religions ever?

I have been watching and reading questions of and on for a couple of months now, and all I have seen is that many (not all, so please pardon the generalizations) Christians have no clue about what is in the Bible, but plunge forward in their "faith" of ridiculing others' questions and beliefs dogmatically and ignorantly. So thank you many Christians for helping me make up my mind for sure to leave the Christian faith. I now see it is based on ignorance and dogmatism and I want no more of it.

For the rest of you, you are so few and far between that I think you would make better atheists.

Please understand that atheism is also a religion. Whether atheists have the evolution god or themselves as god, like Narcissis--we all have a god or True God. The Bible indeed tells us what God is like, especially through the eyes and experience of Christ Jesus.

Whether it be doctrine, example or whatever stumbles you and others, please think careful of who Christ honored and indeed worshipped. His God was no figment of his imagination. His God is not 3 headed, nor is he a perversion who uses hellfire as ultimate punishment--so if such God & Christ dishonoring doctrine trip you, please get up and benefit from the truth in the Bible, Jesus words--
(John 4:24) “24 God is a Spirit, and those worshiping him must worship with spirit and truth.””

Mahtma Gandhi was never stumbled in view of what Christ did in his life & worship, please note:

*** gt The Greatest Man Who Ever Lived ***

‘I love Christ, but I despise Christians because they do not live as Christ lived"

*** gh chap. 4 p. 30 A Practical Guide to True Happiness ***

Treasury of the Christian Faith by S. J. Corey concerning a conversation between the Hindu leader Mahatma Gandhi and the former British Viceroy of India, Lord Irwin:

“Lord Irwin paid a visit to the Mahatma in his ashram. During the conversation Lord Irwin put this question to his host: ‘Mahatma, as man to man, tell me what you consider to be the solution to the problems of your country and mine.’ Taking up a little book from the nearby lampstand, Gandhi opened it to the fifth chapter of Matthew and replied, ‘When your country and mine shall get together on the teachings laid down by Christ in this Sermon on the Mount, we shall have solved the problems not only of our countries but those of the whole world.’ That from a Hindu!”

The Christianity that Christ instituted is far from what we see practiced in most all religions today. Are we to say then that there is no Christian people trying their best to be like Christ individually & organizationally--that would make him a liar since he indeed said:
(Matthew 24:13-14) “. . .. 14 And this good news of the kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations; and then the end will come.”

Are we to think that those preaching the Good News before the end would be deliberate hypocrites? Could not Christ provide a people, imperfect(as his apostles & disciples were when he was on earth) yet sincere and accurate in their presentation of the good news. It would be a sad thing to think that when he recommended part of the prayer which states "thy kingdom come thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven"--that we as individuals would lose faith in his words and God's promises because most all religions play a two faced role.

Christians do not have to advocate our cause. We were told by Christ to tell the good news, some do that better than others, regardless, on this Yahoo site the good news has been revealed. So we have done as our Lord instructed. If you don't respond it is not our fault. We can not make you believe anything. Satan can blind you to the truth, which is happening. A lot of what you say is just accusations and cheap shots. I would never be an atheist, not for a million dollars.

Yahoo is not the best place to get faith. If you are looking to strengthen your faith see the Pastor/Priest at your church. They are trained to give you the answers you need. If you have a question that you are uncomfortable asking them, you should rethink the purpose of the need to know. The trained leaders in the church will be able to give you any information you need for Spiritual health.

I am currently training to be just this type of person. But I don't claim to know everything you may need to know. I will only offer what I know and will not claim knowlage I don't have.

a million. technology is neither ethical nor immoral. it is continually the folk who use or abuse the end results of technology who upload morality. 2. the reason of atheism is the unbelievability of the Bible itself. It has too many contradictions, illogical statements, and unreasonable calls for. the full factor boils bypass into opposite to loss of information. 3. Nietzche grew to become into incorrect while he reported, "God is lifeless." God on no account existed, so as to desire to assign attributes to a non-latest entity is erroneous. 4. have you ever a gay fixation, too? yet yet one extra reason human beings are leaving Christianity at the back of. it is fixated on matters that are inherently unfair or beside the point to daily existence. Who supplies a rat's patootie that the guy sitting 4 seats down on the commuter prepare happens to be gay? What employer is it of yours? What delivers the suited to have something to assert approximately how somebody else lives as long as they do no longer intervene on your area? (in case you answer that their existence is an affront on your ideals, your area is merely too vast ... that's an affront to MY ideals.)

I think you made up your mind long before the last few months on Yahoo A.
Most of us Christians know the Bible very well and I think most Athiests are lying when they say they have read it several times over. Yeah right!!!!!!

I disagree - I don't feel Christianity's representation here encourages atheism [for me, at least].

I -do- find Christianity's representation here DOES discourage Christianity, though.

However, the two aren't one in the same.

So you base your belief (or lack thereof) in God on the knowledge and debating ability of others?

When you grow up and can establish beliefs based on your own knowledge and experiences, I am sure some church will have you back.

The way that leads to life is narrow and few find it. But God has always had a faithful remnant and he always will.

don't give up just because some people are stupid. Please don't judge God based on the ignorance of his people. I, too, get irritated at the ignorance, but I am not going to leave my religion over it.
