During my deployment to Iraq, i couldn't help but notice how the Iraqi Military shed their uniforms and donned the clothing of everyday citizens.... THAT is weak and pitiful...

You wanna know what else is weak and pitiful, blowing up fifty of your own people who just happen to be in the wrong place at the wrong time, in the HOPE that you may injure an American... THAT is weak and pitiful...

Asking a question like this just shows a high degree of ignorance.

Go to Iraq or Afghanistan and see what those people are up against. I think its a perception because of the US technological advantage in combination with how long the war in Iraq is taking.

American soldiers are not weak or unskilled. They have a difficult job to do under extremely restrictive perameters.

The American public does not have much of a stomache for war, that's why the politicians have to act fast to find a way out of this war and others.

We're too used to the in and out raids of the past, this one will take some time to resolve.

Not a chance my friend. Its just that we aren't able to fight this war as we should. It only took us 100 hours to blow through the iraqi regular army the first time, but now, the media and everyone else is hamstringing us. If we could u se our full potential, it would only take another 100 hours.

American citizens are the most powerful people in this world. WE DECIDE who becomes President and what not, in which THEY decide matters which effect the ENTIRE world. As far as pitiful, you've got to be crazy.

My father and uncle both fought in the Vietnam War. To quote both of them, from their experience, they would never want another young man to suffer what they did while at war. Is it weak to hate war? Or is it sheer idiocy to seek it?

I think it is true that people sometimes ask questions that are weakly phrased. What could this question possibly mean? Not enough hawks in America? Not enough backbone in the people to support war? I just don't get the question.
