my cat does that! it is super cute. i think they do it because of the moistuer in the bathtub. it can cool them down or they want a drink without getting all wet.

There's a little cow marked kitty (that has decided I'm his human) in my garage that I call Mickey, (cause he has the Mickey Mouse symbol on his side), and he chases invisible mice all over my garage. I had a cat that would get into the bathtub after we were finished and follow the water down the drain, then roll around in the bathtub. Right now at the cat sanctuary there's a cat named Dave who slaps the water hose when I'm trying to fill the buckets. Cat's are so cool........

Hello Lauren London. I like that name. It sounds like a cosmetic company. lol. My cat used to climb into the bathtub and just sit in there (no water) in tub. I think it's because she was born in a bathtub (the litter of cats was born in the tub.) Yes, it's adorable!

I fail to see what the big attraction is but mine will jump in the dry tub & start digging to China. Really fast like a dog digging a hole. Never poops or pees in there thank God. The sound it makes is the same as fingernails on a chalkboard. Them cats is sure nutty!

I have a couple of cats that can't wait to jump in the tub as soon as I get out of the shower. They practically jump in before I have a chance to get out.
They like to get in and lick the water and then play. I think it's weird, but they've been doing it for years. Hey, it's a cheap form of entertainment.

my cat does this too... it's hysterical. when i am showering she will sit on the edge of the tub... i thought she was the only one! I think they just really like drinking fresh water... i can't leave my glass of water sitting out for a minute before she will be drinking out of it. Same for the bathroom sink, plant dishes, etc.

I have no idea why they do it, but our cat does the same thing. He is sooo cute when he is flopped out laying in there.
