Unlike Norman, the battery industry is very much like the camera market. Duracell and Energizer are the Cannon and Nikon of the battery brands. This is due to great advertising programs. RayoVac, like Pentax in cameras, will give you far more bang for the buck in the long run due to the fact that their batteries generally have a much higher amp/hour rating for a comparable version of the other 2 and sell for about 20% less. The same is true for the Neon brand rechargeable batteries over the top name brands.

almost everything my kids or I use have double A batteries..
gameboys, walkmans, flashlights, guitar tuner, toys of all kinds....etc..etc...
the wife on the other hand needs' d's..( joke )
