Well I'm not exactly sure what you mean by tricks, but there are several things you can do to improve your game. If you're playing limit hold'em then I would suggest "Low Limit Hold'em" by Lee Jones. This is an excellent text on basic strategy for limit Hold'em Games from microstakes ($0.25/$0.50) to what some may consider larger games ($5/$10,$10/$20). If No-limit is your game, then Supersystem by Doyle Brunson is the Bible of Cash Game No-limit hold'em and Harrington on Hold'em is a wealth of knowledge on the tournament structure.

As far as "tricks" go, if you're playing online, unless it's for a lot of money your opponents are most likely playing too many hands and going too far with them. The way to make money is generally to play the opposite of the table, so tighten up and only play very strong hands. Pay attention to how often pots are won without a showdown, and don't try to bluff at a table where people are always "keeping you honest".

Depends on the site. If it's a legitimate site that sponsors pros than tricks will work. I honestly LOVE the book "Poker Nation". The author excapes me right now, but every time I read that book, my love of poker is raised and so is my skill. He tells you everything!
