Yes, dogs can see color. They see a more limited spectrum than we do, but they most certainly see color. It's somewhat faded or washed-out, and they don't see the vibrance that we see in our colors, but they see it.

Dogs can, I don't know about cats but dogs have been taught to bring the right color ball on cue. It's been said that dogs can see reds better than other colors but who of us really knows?

I believe that dogs only see in black and white....however cats I believe can see color!

The answer until recently is no, they see black and white. I did just read recently that an experiment had been done on cats and it is now thought that cats can see blue and different hues of blue. Who knows??

Hey. I have being looking for the answer to this question. The answer is YES, they can. The don't see colors as good as we do, but they can. They see pretty much as daltonic people do.

Yes they can see colors. Not all colors and not all the same shades as humans see, but they are not color blind at all.

No not relay I have read in a book that they only see black and white.
