Well, yeah, he killed a couple hundred thousand people. Would have been nice if they'd given him a lethal injection, though. A bit more civilized than hanging. But then again, his sons used to throw people into wood mulching machines...

Iraq would be better off had he been left in power. It was a giant turkey hunt on Bush and his dad's part. War profiteers, BS, all of Bush's friends making money off of our blood. There's no threat there! The Bin la dens and the Bush's' are "BBQ on the weekend" buddies! I felt sorry for Saddam but he died with dignity. He scoffed at his mockers. And they sank to his level when killing him and pissed off alot of MORE people in the world so there's even more reason to hate the US now.

Justified? Justified for what? Was justice done to him by a court of his peers? According to Iraqi law yes.

Was justice served according to the victims of his abuse of power. I would say yes.

Was he justified in what he did? Maybe by his followers and in his own mind one would assume of course.

Whatever ones judgment, it sure was played out dynamically as a part of this cosmic passion play that we are all taking part in.

There is no justification what so ever in killing a living being of the lords no matter what he did let god judge him for the people that tortured the torturer may god have mercy on your unclean souls.

R- It doesn't really matter what you or I think, the Iraqi people, against whom Saddam committed his crimes, thought his execution was justified. (I personally agree with them!)
