Robbery is taking something that does not belong to you. Jesus claimed equality with God. Does not that make Him either God or a liar? No creature can be equal with God
Philippians 2:5-6
Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God,

Isaiah prophesies Jesus' birth saying that a Son will be born and also saying that Jesus will be called the Mighty God, Everlasting Father. Also, Matthew 1:23 says that they will call Jesus, Emmanuel which means God with us. John 1:1 says the Word was God, and then if you look at John 1:14 it says the Word became flesh and dwelt among us. These are just a few scriptures that show that Jesus is God. There are others. I hope your search will lead you to the truth.

Jesus did not claim to be equal with God.
Jesus said that He can only do what the Father shows Him to do.
Jesus said that there are things that He does not know, that only the Father knows.
That does not sound like equality to me.

However John 1:1 says that Jesus was with God and was God.
You would have to understand the Trinity to understand this, and I cannot get that on a postcard. It is more like a dissertation.

Paul said this in a letter to the Philippians,
Php 2:6-8
6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

I guess it would make a huge difference whether one is a Christian or not to determine the answer. Christians do not consider Jesus to be a creature but a deity born of a virgin. Therefore if the spirit of God was to become incarnate in the form of Jesus then your inference would be false. If you insinuate that Jesus was not the incarnation of God then you would equate his being with all other creatures on earth thereby validating your theory. Either way you are on shaky ground and are most likely to stir up a hornets nest with your question.

Jesus claimed unity with God, not equality. As a human, he typified our individual humanity, and in that, showed how we ourselves can also be one with God through the ordinary deeds that each of us performs every day, if we do them with the love of God in our heart, soul and mind rather than hatred, and the love of our neighbors in our hands.

Jesus' was in perfect unity with God, humbly doing exactly what God wanted, however challenging, unfashionable or painful. Buddha was a contemporary of Jesus who also claimed to be in perfect unity with God. They both could have been correct.

Remember, we are not talking about the God just of the Earth, the Solar System, the Milky Way Galaxy, or our local cluster, but the God of All. Let's not start talking about that God like we have a clue.

If I comprehend the logic of your statements, sure, if Jesus became only a instructor with a competent message, then he may well be a poor teller falsehoods; besides the shown fact that, he became not basically a instructor with a competent message, or so i think! might that make him the biggest and maximum effectual liar interior the historic previous of the international? No, because of the fact there have consistently been adult adult males that have claimed what he has claimed, yet have shown to be murderous wolves in sheep's clothing. thank you, N

I do not believe Jesus is equal to God in any way! God made Jesus. Jesus can NEVER make God. There is only ONE god, and thats GOD, not Jesus, GOD. God almighty. and that is why i think Chrisianity is stupid. That reason alone is why I converted. Why do Christians worship Jesus, not God? because theyre STUPID and IGNORANT and believe only what they see with their eyes. or should i say what a past generations saw. And the bible is a bunch of bullshit written a million times in different versions to "better suit today's generation".

Nope. He was God in the flesh.

Joh 8:56 Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad.
Joh 8:57 Then said the Jews unto him, Thou art not yet fifty years old, and hast thou seen Abraham?
Joh 8:58 Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.

Heb 1:3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;

Why do people want to put limitations on God?

I am that I am, also means, I will be what I will be.

Check it out.

JESUS NEVER CLAIMED EQUALITY WITH GOD.

In fact, the night before he died, he said quite the opposite.

He said, praying to his father, "if it is your will" and "let your will be done." This implies directly that Jesus, who will sit at his fathers right-hand side would NEVER try to place himself equal to his father, instead HE SOUGHT OUT his fathers advice before doing anything. This is a good son, not someone wanting to ursurp a throne.

Jesus spoke the truth. You judge something without the eye to see. As the colors of the rainbow are contained within sunlight so to are we all contained within the light of Gods unconditional love within our hearts. Much of the bible has been polluted by politicians, and the powers that were in charge at the time. "God dwells within you as you". enter your heart and see for yourself.
