I'm 5'7" and possibly stll growing (up, not wide) I'm tall and skinny and i hate it, no pants ever fit me right, and i feel like guys mosltly like shorter woman. i feel so awkward when i tower over the girls in my classes. is there anything i can do to make sure i don't grow any taller? i really dislike it.

i know - been there!!! you'll be suprised as you grow older (i know that doesn't help now - but trust me!!) you'll enjoy it more...tall women are admired by many guys...considered sexy...their are lots of chances to buy pants for "tall women" too- and a long skirt or a short skirt looks good on a tall girl - i promise - the guys will grow...and be much taller than you (most are over 5'10) and even if you grow more - a tall guy (+6') is increadably sexy too...

right now it is tough being taller than most of your class mates and even the guys, I know I am 6ft 2inches. I stayed taller than almost every person in the school, but I also know there are MANY people who love tall women. being tall is an honor. Youre lucky youre skinny, I am heafty with a flat chest. I hear all the time, "May I help you sir?" Oh I hate that. Dont hate your height girl stand tall. Right now guys may be a touch intimidated about your slight height, but trust it will change.

I guess everyone want what they can't have. I'm 5 ft and always wished to be taller. Use your height to your advantage, you could be good at basketball or become a model one day. Be proud of your height and carry it with grace, some tall people tend to slouch to appear shorter. You just end up with a hump in your back. Also skinny jeans with ballet flats look great on tall skinny, women.

Sweetheart, you are perfect.
You will be out of school before you know it and the extra height gives an advantage in the grown up world. Don't dislike being taller. I'm 5 and half feet tall and wouldn't mind being 5' 7" to 5' 11" anyday.

A lot of guys do like it. Trust me, I'm a guy. Plus, you may tower over the other girls, but you're still shorter than most guys. When you get older, you'll get bigger around and maybe even shrink an inch or 2, so chill out.

u are still young. i am only 5'9", but i remember that phase in Jr high when all the guys where shorter than me and i felt like a giant. i had huge boobs and hips and all my girl friends were totally flat chested and about 5'3". i hated myself and thought i would end up a freak. don't worry. a couple years down the road the guys will catch up to you, or you can do what i did and date guys in high school, ha! seriously, now i wear thigh high boots with 3 inch heels and get noticed in a crowd, men love my height, and for the most part most men i met and dated before marriage loved that i was tall, whether they were or not. embrace your inner supermodel!!!

dont worry about that plenty of guys love tall women, and maybe you can play basketball or even be a super model. maybe you should try to look for the jeans that are made for longer legs and taller people, every woman is shaped differently.

I feel for you I'm 5'10" and hated being tall. I'm going to assume that you are in you're teen years so I wouldn't stress too much the guys will catch up and then 5'7" won't seem so tall.
All I can say is hang in there it get's easier.

Umm well bread has the vitamen B12 in it and that makes you grow. Figure skaters eat little bread sometimes. So Dont eat to much of wheat, but be sure to get a little though. Umm.. good luck if that doesnt work.

theres really nothing to do, if your parents are fairly tall this is an indication of your future height. i know its uncomfortable feeling like a sore thumb but many people wish they can be taller. us shorties (5'5") cant really be great models etc...its just something you will learn to live with. as u grow older people may respect you more as u will command attention.
