ya I've had that feeling before usually at night time before I fall asleep. First time it happened was when I was about 10 from about 6-12 I used to LOVE spinning on the paralel bars at school well there ws this one trick some girls did called the dead mans fall were you sit on the bars and then just drop backwards while keeping your hands in your lap and your supposed to land on your feet I was always to scared to actually do it so one night when I was 10 I was in bed and mentally going over the trick then I go to drop in my head and my body really felt like I had actually droped it was so wierd.

I think I get that a lot myself. I think everyone does though. Do you mean like when you're dreaming of tripping or falling and then you wake up all scared? Lol I always jump and then my hands flail around in the air.
Maybe try going to webmd.com and look for some kind of sleeping disorder section. They have real doctors you can talk to and answer your questions online plus regular people.
^If you really think it's serious that is...I'm pretty sure it's normal though.

You just had a spaz attack, I do that all the time, your bed or couch are probably squeshy so your sinking into the couch and your body interputs it was falling. Go to the doctor, though, just to make sure its not a lesion in your brain!!!
lol, Not trying to scare you....
Your probably fine

That's normal and it happens to everybody. Same with feeling like the room is spinning and thinking you just heard somebody whisper your name right before you go from the twlight phase to NREM sleep. Odd phenomenons but not medically significant. Don't go to the doctor. He'll laugh.

yeah that happens to me to it might be some feeling that your not expressing maybe you could try not lying back down cause if you get up and do what u have to do and then go back to bed that's telling your brain to get up cause your up and it doesn't want to go to bed yet its kinda a nerve impulse. dont worry it happens to everyone. your brain patterns get disorientated its really nothing to worry about <3
hope that helped
