Windows 2000?

I have never heard of 2000, is i tbetter than 98? Is it similar to XP and do u need to activate it like XP?

Yes it is better than Windows 98 and more stable. Yes it is similar to Windows XP but does not include the same features. Windows 2000 was released mostly for the corporate world. The similar product which was crap was Windows ME. You do not have to activate it like Windows XP. However, the product is no longer sold and Microsoft is discontinuing support support.
