I really don't think there is an "age." Every girl and boy is different. If you restrain her she will just resent you for it. Talk to her and explain why you don't trust the boys and then trust her to make the right decisions based on what you taught her. Even if she makes a wrong one she will still learn and grow from it.

I wish that people start dating at age of 21, but they'd not learn to deal with emotions while growing up. It depends on individuals. No matter how mature and responsible they are, they'd always face the dating problems until they find the right persons. If it was my kids, I'd say they wait until 18 and they can make their own decisions in dating business.

16. That's when a girl has her head on straight, for the most part. She's more of an adult at this time and will most likely be better adjusted. Girls who start early tend to be a touch...well...slutty.
16 is the perfect age.
