slim fast?

Question

im 5'2, 130 lbs and i want to lose about 20 lbs or wear a size 25.
ive been drinking slimfast and following the plan for 4 days, plus excersizing, and ive lost about 3 lbs already!

is it water weight that i am losing?
and also, everyone i know who has tried slimfast says they gain the wieght back.

is it worth buying/drinking it everyday?!?

I'd do the cereal diet thing before the slim fast.

Slim Fast actually always made me hungrier and I ate. So on top of my normal meals, I was adding the 200+ calories from the shake lol.

The best way to assure shedding water weight is to drink more water. Your body will stop holding onto water because it thinks there's a deficiency.

Another thing you can try is eating a normal breakfast, a big hearty lunch, and a light dinner. That should allow you to eat foods without having to buy slim fast and you'll lose weight. My understanding is that's one reason Americans are more overweight than Europeans. We eat our biggest meal at night, before bed, and when our metabolisms are moving at snail speed. I'm gonna start trying that method myself.

Slim fast has a lot of carbs in it. You can buy instant breakfast mix and get the same results. Cut out your carbs and eat protein and you'll loose real fat not just the water weight from the past 3 days.

when you go off it you gain it back, that plan does not teach you how to change your lifestyle so you go back to the old overeating habits had, plus since your body was starved it will turn everything into fat, causing you to gain more weight than when you started

its not worth it. you should try exercising instead. not only will you feel good.. you will look good.
