Big difference. In the bible-new testimony, Jesus is the son of God, its a Trinity: Father, Jesus and Holy Spirit. Jesus came and die for us. Jesus is the Messiah and there is no other prophet after Him.
In Koran, the last prophet is Muhammad. Jesus is not a son of God and he doesnt come here to die for our sin, so he is not a Messiah.
In the bible, you can only have wife (if you are a man). In Koran, you can have more than 1 wife. They have Jihad (holy war), bible doesnt have it. Muslims are required to pray 5 times a day. Christians are required to pray before they eat, before they sleep and when they wake up, and anytime when they feel they want to pray & talk to God.

Koran has to borrow the stories of the bible to make what it is. It chose what it wants to tell. The Bible tells all good and bad. The good on condition that he has Jesus will go to heaven. The bad will go to the firy place prepared for him. That is the first difference. And because before the Koran the Old Testament and New Testament of the Bible Christians believed were already existed. This is another difference. The Bible points out that God is your heavenly father. He is so close to you. You worship Him as your father. Jesus came to confirm this. This is another important difference. Then the Bible teaches from the words of Jesus that you must love your enemies or sow love and not hatred. The bible is the story about God loves you and you must love others. I think there is no any Holy Book in the world other than the Bible teaches the kind of love we all must live towards God and towards the fellow men.

You might want to read a bit of the Quran to see how much you know if the truth and how much is misinformation. Try this: http://www.usc.edu/dept/MSA/quran/
Quran and Bible has similar stories because they both come from the same God, the God of Abraham, David, Noah, Jesus and thousands of other Prophets who were sent by God.
When God created Adam and Eve and sent them to planet Earth, He gave them a set of instruction -- call it the operating manual -- to live their lives in peace and justice on His Earth. With time, people forgot the true message that God had given to them, so God sent people to remind them of the true message. We call them Prophets and Messengers.
Each Prophet and Messenger addressed issues that were prevelent in the society at the time. Some addressed honesty, others addressed worship of One True God, while others attacked immoral practices. Moses delivered the Israelites from the persecution of the Pharoah whereas Jesus was sent to revive the Israelites and call them again to the true Lord. Mohammad had the same message.
Quran tells us that the Torah, the Bible and the Quran are from the same Book and that Quran is the completion of the message. If you were to read the three with an open heart, you will find that the messages are similar. Quran claims itself to be a universal message for all mankind and that is perhaps the reason for so many people who pick up the Quran to read converting to Islam.
There is a lot of misinformation about Quran, so it is difficult to find the truth. People talk about 70 virgins, killing unbelievers, and the same, but all of it is statements taken completely out of context. If you want to understand Shakespeare, you have to read Shakespeare, you can't base your opinion on the translation of one verse by Shakespeare. I recommend this video to show you that Quran is not just stories: http://www.harunyahya.com/m_video_miracles_quran.php
God bless you and be ware of those who spread hatred and misinformation.

The Qu'ran is an addition to the bible, like the Book of Morman for people who follow the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
In the Qu'ran, it tells Muslims to respect Christians and Jews, for they are part of the family of Abraham. However, verses in the bible prevent Christians and Jews from getting along with the Muslims.

The Koran was supposedly written by Mohammad.... and the Koran does NOT think Jesus was the son of God.. they simply think he was one of the many prophets...
And the Koran talks of how when the men die, if they lived a good life, they will go to heaven and have 70 virgins... and their wife will NOT mind.. ( LOL ) .
The Koran says a LOT of things that are (sorry Muslims... wacked)... I will add that I think the Bible was simply written by men.. and is not the word of God.. and things like the flood and such , never happened.. it's just stories.

All praise is due to Allah and peace and blessings be upon the beloved Prophet Muhammad. The Noble Qur'an is the literal word of Allah that was transmitted through Muhammad (peace be upon him) in Arabic. All of the Prophets (peace be upon them) are mentioned in the Qur'an, with the true accounts of what actually happened in their efforts to convey the message of worshiping the ONE true God. There are also some stories not mentioned in the Bible. They are not protrayed as murderers, adulterers, men of incest, or drunks, as mentioned in other scriptures. Allah uses them as a source of guidance and Allah only chooses good righteous men as a mercy to us all. Compare the depiction of the Prophets (peace be upon them) in the Qur'an with the Bible, you will see a BIG difference. Allah knows best.

The Holy Bible is God- Breathed, the Qu'ran takes bits and products and varieties a sparkling concept equipment, yet refuses to renowned Jesus as God, no longer in uncomplicated terms a prophet. "All Scripture is God- Breathed and useful for coaching, rebuking, correcting and practise in Righteousness, so as that the guy of God may well be thouroughtly equipped for each stable paintings" 2Timothy 3:sixteen as quickly as Jesus grew to become into baptized, he went up out of the water. At that 2d heaven grew to become into opened, and he observed the Spirit of God descending like a dove and lights on him. 17And a voice from heaven reported, "it is my Son, whom i admire; with him i'm properly delighted." Matthew 3:sixteen-17
