I've been losing a lot of hair daily, is there anything that would help me stop losing hair?

My stylist who had read up on this, told me to take vitamins, especially a good B complex. This helps the body to deal with stress. I was losing a lot of hair and this worked for me. I was already using excellent quality hair products. When I notice my hair falling out, it's when I've run out of or forgotten to take my vitamins for awhile. An excellent quality multiple vitamin works for me.
Good luck, hope this helps. All the best for the New Year.

Depending on the cause, it can be treated with a hair repairing conditioner, followed by a moisturizing conditioner (of course after it has been shampooed). You can cut alot of breakage also by keeping the ends trimmed. Some of the products I use is Nexxus and Paul Mitchell. Read the labels to see which product best suits you. Excessive wear of ponytails can be a contributing factor, however, the daily shedding amount of hair is between 75 to 150 strands of hair a day. Watch your intake of certain foods ( junk foods), drink plenty of water. You also have to be careful of adding to much of what your follicles already produce, such as, if you produce alot of oily you don't want to add heavy oils to the scalp. It clogs the pores and the hair can't grow as it should. You might want to use a clarifying shampoo. Just remember you are what you eat, what goes in is produces outwardly. Hope this is a start.

You have a male avatar but that means nothing so here it is-

whether male/or female- change your shampoo to something gentle- like baby shampoo--- there are shampoos out there that if you left a shaft of hair inside the bottle- it would disappear by morning (this is not an urban myth but true- it was a test that was done on Prell many years back).

Both male/female should have their blood levels checked- loss of hair can be a hormone imbalance, thyroid insufficiency and also dietary insufficiency, so see a family doc-- it could be a sign of another more serious issue.

Good luck to you.

watch your diet. are you eating healthy?or just maybe stressed out? perhaps you need to watch how you treat your hair, dont overprocess by putting to many different hair care products and blow drying and straightening, try to limit hair dying also, try buying products that have an anti breakage system

Stop stressing about it. Stress causes hair loss.
