Tell him you want to paint the guest bedroom. (or whatever room will be the nursery) ..tomorrow is sat, perfect timing. Go get two sample paint jars...one pink and one blue. (like 5$ each) Remove any hints of colors that are inside. Ask him to paint a little of each color in on the wall so you can see what you prefer...

Have a car seat installed in the backseat of the car and then send your husband out to get something from the car and let him see it!
There was a car commercial a couple of years ago that had this scenario and I thought it was so cute!

when i found out i was pregnant again me and my daughter got some glitter glue and stickers and we made him a cute little peice of art work that said that he was going to be a daddy again and it had when the baby was due on it. i just thought it would be cute to involve my daughter. if you have older children maybe you could get them involved somehow on breaking the news to daddy. if not then i would do something like buy a baby bib that says "i love daddy" on it and wrap up the postive pregnancy test for him to open and get some ballons that say congratulations on it.

A friend put a pic of the ultrasound (if you have one yet) in a frame. Another put a pic of each of their kids in a three-window frame and wrote TBA in the third with the test on it. If you knit, knit some booties in front of him until he gets it. Set three place settings at the table and put food on all three. When he asks why you set an extra plate say, I'm eating for two.

Make a dinner with everything baby from Baby back ribs to Baby carrots. Try to get as much "baby" foods as you can and see if he catches on. If not, at the end of the meal, name off all the foods you cooked in a nonchalant way, and give him "the smile"

Fathers (just like Moms) want to impart some of themselves on their children Personalize the message: what are his passions/ interests? Football? A palm sized pigskin and write "Daddy" on it. Hockey? A mini jersey. Be creative.

Since this is my 4th baby I told him I had good and bad news for him. The bad news was we needed a bigger car. He guessed the good news and hugged me soooo tight I thought he would squeeze the poor little thing out. Worked with us. Good luck and Congrats
