Potatoes help taking away flavours, just boil the sauce with a decent amount of them, also depends how hot you made it :-(

Starches help take the heat off.
Use Rice, Potatoe, or dumplings (flower products).
You can also make a milk/flower sauce and add it:
Put 1/2 cup milk in a sauce pan and add 1 teaspoon flower.
Then heat the mixture until it thickens. Bring to a boil, stirring contstantly, for 3 minutes.
Pour over your too spicy recipe and mix.

Another "old school" you might try. Add a piece of potatoe. It works when you salt too much. It soaks up the salt. Might be worth a try.

Serve it with beer and bread. Both will help to absorb the extra acid from the spice.

make another batch or two depending on how hot it is and divide equally........you can also strain all the solids and then make just the liquid (sauce) and add to the solids.....or discard//...but i have done both and they work.........
