The old people over home where I was raised used to say ,only the goats go to church and the sheep stay at home. Some sense in that when U see politicians and big business men etc. suck up to religious leaders and vice verca at churches and special events world over.

Hebrews Chapter 10
23: Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)
24: And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:
25: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

To neglect Christian meetings is to give up the encouragement and help of other Christians. We gather together to share our faith and to strengthen one another in the Lord. As we get closer to the day when Christ will return, we will face many spiritual struggles, and even times of persecution. Anti-Christian forces will grow in strength. Difficulties should never be excuses for missing church services. Rather, as difficulties arise, we should make an even greater effort to be faithful in attendance.

First of all you need to check whether they are looking down at you or simply concern. To take note that just by going to Church, wearing a cross does not make a person a Christian. Also to take note that it does not matter whether they look down at you or not but most importantly that God is looking down at you from above and he loves you.

I wouldn't look down on you. I rarely go to church. I was baptized a couple years ago and I'll go there sometimes, but the place is huge. I like to be alone or with a small group for worship and study. I don't feel compelled to go anywhere.

Are you a Christian? No one can look down on anyone else nor judge unless they be judged. As long as you are seeking God and asking him to increase in your life as you decrease you will be straight. Worship and Praise him all day. If you don't know what to say just say Thank you God.

i feel sorry for you.they should not do that to you.why did you stop attending church service?as a christian we don't have the right to condemn others but instead we have to encourage one another, edify and pray one another.i don't know the reason why you stop going to church.they should talk to you nicely and pray for you.if you are not happy in that church find another caring church in which you feel belongingness as a family.fellowship is one way to develop your faith, commitment to God is essential to change our life.i encourage you to go back.talk to one of the elders in your church.open up your feelings.if you have problems ask your pastor for counselling.
i'm happy in our church here in Ireland.we have a Filipino Congregation.i am one of the leader.i thank God because our pastor is a godly man.he is a blessing for us.we have a good relationship to everybody.our bonding is very strong.we pray one another, encourage one another and it helps us in our christian growth.

I don't go to church, for several reasons:
I have several medical conditions that prevent me from doing so.
I don't exactly have a normal Christian belief system.
The last church I went to told my mother that she didn't have enough faith.
And that's why her HAND hasn't GROWN back.

I think that as long as you still believe in him, and his son, and that you think about them, thank them, and read the bible from time to time, that YOU'RE STILL CHRISTIAN, and God understands.

The Bible dosnt say " go to Church on Sunday morning or you are condemned." It is helpful though to be with other believers. Dont worry about what they think about you.

Because they are fanatics following a man and not God, the all mercy full Father. That happens to me too, but I don't go to church to please a man, so I pray fro them. If they are not Christians, I am.
