I hope you are not trying to drop more then 9 pounds. You are not at a need to lose weight now. The best advice would be to avoid junk food and eat healthy balanced meals that includes low carb vegetables: green beans , broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, spinach. Eat baked or microwaved foods with no added fats. Avoid high calorie salad dressings but enjoy fresh salads. Eat brown rice and whole wheat breads and avoid high carb pastas. Drink skim milk and use other low fat dairy products. Drink plenty of water and get regular exercise.
You can also look thinner without any weight loss just by building muscle and toning up what you have.

If you are physically able and your doctor allows, I have always found pilates works great. Winsor Pilates has a 20 minute workout that you can do 3-4 times a week and you will shed pounds and tone. Pilates makes you use your powerhouse and works your body like situps but not as painful.

Also, at 5-4 119pds you probably just need to tone. So, if you lose inches instead of pounds that may benefit you more.

Cut out sodas and juices. Only drink water. That alone will help cut your calories. Instead of snaking on chips or other things at night- grab a hand full of dry cereal: corn pops, chex, cherrios. They may have sugar- but they also have essential vitamins and minerals that will keep you healthy. You could always do Special K cereal for 2 meals and a sensable 3rd meal. Don't starve yourself. If you do that all day- you will bindge at night and over eat.
For your height- your weight really is fine. But I remember wanting to shed those extra pounds as a teen. Just remember to make sure you are eating enough to keep you going. And if not: TAKE YOUR VITAMINS!!!!!

5'4, 14, and 119 pounds?

You do NOT need to loose weight. When I was about that age I also went through this- don't go there, it's hard to dig yourself back out- not only that but it's very hard on your heart to loose weight rapidly meaning that you could develop fatal heart conditions.

Take care of yourself.
