Around Christmas time I see chestnuts for roasting in the grocery stores.I've always wanted to try them but had no clue how to go about it.So this year I was going through our local grocery flyer menu planning and they had the recipe for roasting them.Bought some, and prepared them as recipe called for...Didn't really care for them, very starchy, not much flavour to me....but at least I satisfied my curiosity

I used to hang around with a guy that ate frog legs. He said he liked them because you could use the bones as toothpicks when you were done!

I eat potato chips w/ my creamy chicken Raman Noodles, too! Freaky!
I made corned beef & cabbage last night. It was weird b/c it just didn't turn out as good as my sister-in-law's! And the corned beef is just kinda nasty when you look at it.

Oh, lord, those things are tasty!!
The oddest thing cooked lately were some sauerkraut balls that I fantasize about daily since they were prepared. I helped make them, it was team effort.

yes i did. every saturday for breakfast i eat what i call orange (or sometimes lime) sausage waffle rolls. i make two buttermilk eggo (r) waffles. i also make two sausages that start cooking before that. when they are finished cooking approximately simulateously. i place one of the two sausage in each waffle at the end and basically make it rolled-up like pigs in blankets are rolled up, sausages on the inside and waffles on the outside instead of hotdog on the inside and dough on the outside. the i un-roll it and put either lime-marmalade (From trader-joes) or regular orange marmalade and put it on the sausages and roll it back up. funky and delicious!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
