The topic was actually about I was terminated from a position by him and I tried to tell him that I didn't know about the requirements and asked if he could reconsider.. Then he said things like the decision is final and he can't comment on it and "for the record..." etc.. He also said he has to get back to work...
I just wonder if he likes me or not...

It means he really doesn't want to talk to you now, and most likely doesn't want to talk to you ever. However, he could always change his mind at some point in the future, but don't hold your breath.

Yeah hun, it means he's done. Why would you want to talk to someone who is trying to hang up on you? If he does want to talk again, let him call you. In the meantime, don't call him or try to ask him more questions. He's obviously mad and doesn't want to address them right now.

Sounds like a jerk... Why would someone do that to someone they care about? I would give it some time, and maybe in a week or so try to see what happened. Maybe he is just going through a bad time.
