I am a Republican at heart that's why I vote democrat!!
I believe in less government involvement!
The President changing the constitution enable the government to read people mail with out a warrant! IS not less government!
The Government asking IPS about what sites people are searching is not less goverment.
Abolishing abortions because the government says so it not less government! Remember the Democrats are not asking people to have abortions!
I don't want to support career welfare recipients and it was a democrat president that tried to change the system.
For those reasons I vote democrat! I embrace the ideology of less government!

I come from a big family of Democrats. I am a Democrat and proud of it!! I believe in government of the people, by the people and for the people. May not seem that way too much anymore but it is supposed to be that in a Democratic society. I was brought up to believe that Democrats are for the working class.
The state I live in has voted in a Dem for Governor and on a Fed level Dems are controlling the House and Senate so let's see what occurs.......

That's a hard question for sure. I like to really think about both parties before I vote. I very seldom vote a straight ticket because I don't think that just being one or the other makes you really better. I do lean more to the side of the republicans though.
I just seem to agree with a lot more of what they have to say and offer. I'm not always right though.
I think it's important to give your vote alot of thought and not just vote because they belong to one party or the other.

The word you are looking for is "Democrat." Democrats believe in fairness towards everybody. That everybody should be given a fair chance. That's why we have government-sponsored social programs like Social Security, school loan programs and public education, and public hospitals. It's why we have unions and laws to protect workers. Because workers generally don't hold the power in the business world where corporations and stockholders hold the capital.
Republicans believe in protecting the rich. Their tax cuts benefited the top 1% of the wealthiest people in this country. Everybody else got screwed because of it. We now have the largest deficit in the history of this country - and it's largely due to the tax cuts. Republicans believe in "private enterprise" as the answer to almost everything. They'd like nothing more than to allow drilling in our national parks, selling off lands in our national parks, dismantling Social Security and other social programs, and abolishing rights for workers.
Republicans, in short, make me want to puke.

Republican; I'm not so much Republican as I am anti-Democrat and anti-dam-green-party-commies. I believe that we should build a fence on the Mexican border; illegal immigration is wrong, as in against the law wrong. But besides that, I'm not fully supportive of any party's ideas, I just kinda prefer Republican ideas.

I'm a conservative democrat. I'm liberal as long as it makes sense. For example, i believe that homosexual couples should have the same legal marriage protections as do heterosexual couples. However, the traditional act of marriage is a religious function and I don't believe the government should force them to marry gay couples if it's against their beliefs. That's what the courthouse and religions that support gay marriage are for.

Republican without a doubt. I believe in border security, a babies right to life, making criminals pay, familiy values(against gay marriage), lower taxes, rewarding achievement, and not favoring people based on race(against affirmative action).
