I have a long haired chiwawa and I wouldn't trade her for the world. My mom got her as a gift for christmas one year, but she won't leave my side for more than 30 minutes at a time. But if I was going out to specifically pick a dog as a pet, there are three or four breeds that would stand out. First would have to be the Belgian Shepard, either the Groenendael or Tervueren version. I had a white female, not an albino, when I was younger, and she was incredibly intelligent compared to other dogs I have had. My third choice would have to be a Doberman Pinscher. They are just all around great dogs.

Well I would have to say all of them. From pure breeds to the little mutt I enjoy all of them.

l would love almost any breed but l like mutts the most. l do have pure bred but l have mutts that can out shine a pure bred any day.

I have 3:
1) Austrailian Shepard-- she was there for me & very protective
2) Miniature Schnauzer--soooooooo cute and didn't shed
3) Miniature Poodle--loves to cuddle with me and likes to be carried.

Labrador retriever are very loyal friendly and loveable and German Shepherds are intelligent great watch dogs and very loyal to the family
