I prefer the piquant pineyness of the Black Warrior, although I sometimes opt for the cedary overtones of the Dixon Oriole.
However, there's nothing like the Eberhard Faber #2 Soft Golf Pencil for a satisfying between meal snack.

I like to chew on the , made in the USA~ number 2 ~~of course
~~That was the only kind the teacher would allow when I was growing up~~Boy~~I sound old ~~really not~~anyway~~Pencils~~~lets see ~~wood ~~used for brainstorming~~the pencil becomes really tasty when your hot on the trail of that new idea!!

I prefer mechanical pencils. They aren't as messy and I love the taste of plastic. Oh, and not to forget the .5 lead... It's good to clean out my teeth when I'm done. Yum!
