Do not EVER give chocolate to dogs even just a little bit. It is toxic to their bodies because of theobromine. If a 50-pound dog eats a teaspoonful of milk chocolate, it's not going to cause serious problems. However, if that same dog gorges himself on a two-layer chocolate cake, his stomach will feel more than upset and soon it's likely he'll be vomiting or experiencing diarrhea. So we don't know yet if your dog will be experiencing diarrhea or seizures or vomiting since it takes about 11-17 hours for the chocolate to sink in. However, you may want to call your vet to ask for more information.
You can give your dog healthy things like rice and veggies or maybe a cup of soup or milk. Just not too much salt, sugar and chocolate.

We love you and your little dog too. My dog is the prewash mechanism that came with my dishwasher. You put the dishes on the floor or the doggie on the table and then the little sweetie licks the plates clean so the diswasher does not get overworked. Just put a little bleach in the dishwasher to kill the doggie germs.

chocolate is not toxic, but to much can hurt dogs. They will be fine it wont hurt them unless you gave a whole lot. there are many things that can hurt them though. Macadamian nuts (cant spell) can kill dogs! There are alt of things that us humans eat can really hurt dogs i would ask your vet what you think might be okay before you feed it to your dog. Also look it up on the internet if you want to.

My dog likes licking carrots, and jerky, and little peices of chicken, but other than that no, she dosen't like much people food. She'll eat the crumbs on the floor but not alot.
I wouldn't give your dog's chocolate either...It can poisen them...

Yeah, always, that the only way he'll eat his food. But we never give him chocolate, it's poisonous for a dog.

I used to give my dog my pepperoni from my pizza and other little things off my plate. He died four years ago at the age of 14.
