But how do you know that he is chosen? Because he says so?
I mean some say that but then we find out they are gay, lies and cheats and steals. Then we say he is sorry.
So how do you know when someone is really from God?

yea, it's a great question. I believe i know some, I think they're the ones who aren't famous and asking you for your money, but live a life of righteousness , not for show but to please God. Remember people like to follow charasmatic, flashy , eloquent men and women. But in the Bible , the apostles were ordinary people, fishermen, etc. John the Baptist was very wierd on the outside., but was really from God.

There is no way for you to know for sure if someone else is a man of God. Therefore, my suggestion would be for you to be concerned only with yourself and your relationship to God. Let God worry about the other guy.

We needn't follow man but Jesus only. If you look to men they will fail you because all are human and have sinned. Compare what you know about a person with the Bible. If they conflict go with the Bible every time! (One must know the Bible in order to do the comparisons)

Listen closely and if he says anything that does not agree or can be backed up by the Bible, avoid him.
Some people think they can get away with misrepresenting themselves, in all walks of life. But, ultimately, none of us will get away with anything.

Well if you believe in the Judeo-christian tradition... everyone is from god. and you have to accept them w/ all their human failures.
