It is immoral, on many levels. If you read the doucments carefully, for instance in Missouri's last election, your eyes would be opened. Mine sure were. The making and taking of life, and cloning, should not be something we should do. I mean, how about selling our kidneys, if its for the good of mankind, and it would be, to some degree! But no, that is not a good place to go. Look into what it would do to both the women involved, then, to the life they create with the eggs. Its not good at all. So, it conflicts heavily with my christian beliefs, but should conflict with any moral persons beliefs. Did you know, there has not been one thing done, nothing proven to work, in embryonic stem cell research? There has been a lot more help from adult stem cell research. Scientists just want the power to say they could have cures, etc. Kids at my sons school think it would have cured their diabetes, there are so many lies going around. A few kids stood up and said they wouldn't take help if it came from embryonic stem cell research. Thats how sure they were it was wrong.

The reason why most Christians don't like genetic engineering or cloning is because that involves lab rats which are humans.

No, although I think there are good secular arguments to be made against genetic engineering and cloning. I oppose cloning humans.
